BorgWarner is a global automotive technology company focused on delivering innovative and sustainable mobility solutions. With a strong presence in both combustion and electric vehicle systems, the company supplies advanced components and systems to major automakers worldwide.
BorgWarner needed a safe and space-efficient way to move materials through a tight and fast-paced production facility. The goal was to reduce reliance on forklifts while maintaining high material throughput and improving sustainability.
BorgWarner implemented six LiftLiner® tugger trains together with compatible Daughter Carts. This enabled ergonomic, forklift-free handling of heavy materials throughout production.
The LiftLiner® is a compact, fully electric tugger train designed to replace forklifts in tight and demanding production environments. With a unique double-loading system, it allows for fast, ergonomic loading and unloading from either side—without stopping the train. Its tight turning radius, lifting/tilting technology, and compatibility with Daughter Carts make it ideal for high-throughput, forklift-free logistics.
