K.Hartwall expands and inaugurates new facilities in the US

K.Hartwall US-team inaugurates new facilities

K.Hartwall reinforced its continued commitment to the US market with the inauguration of new facilities near Chicago.

With a significant portion of our turnover, close to 25M€, now coming from the US, this strategic investment aims to strengthen our presence and expand our operations in the region.

The decision to open new facilities was driven by our dedication to providing excellent service to US customers. Over the past years, the company has built a strong team in the US, gathering professionals in sales, customer services, product development and logistics. This investment has proven fruitful, establishing the US as one of our main markets.

On 23 June 2023, K.Hartwall proudly inaugurated the large facilities in Romeoville, situated near Chicago. The entire US team, led by Jeff Pfieffer, Vice President of Sales & Marketing in the US, was gathered for the event. Joining the occasion were Jerker Hartwall, CEO of K.Hartwall, who traveled from the company’s headquarters in Finland, and Jonathan Bland, responsible for operations in the US.

Jerker Hartwall expressed his excitement about the company’s new facilities, stating, “With this, we want to continue our expansion in the US throughout our different business units. This strategic decision reaffirms K.Hartwall’s commitment to delivering innovative logistics solutions to US companies in the Retail, Postal & Parcel and Automotive industries.”

The newly inaugurated facilities have a versatile space of 50,000 square feet or approximately 4,500 square meters. Designed with functionality in mind, the premises include modern sales offices and warehouse space. To further enhance the customer experience, we plan to build a demo center within the facility. It will serve as a platform to showcase our future-fit solutions and extend invitations to customers and partners for interactive meetings and presentations.

“By opening these new facilities, K.Hartwall wants to strengthen its foothold in the US market. Our commitment to provide local services combined with our dedication to improve the efficiency of our customers’ intralogistics, positions us for further growth and success in the region.”, adds Jeff Pfieffer.
